Donald Trump and his Republicans have suffered a major setback in this poll. According to the poll, the number of people approving the work of President Donald Trump is still near a record low.
According to the FOX News poll, most of the public seems excited to vote for the Democrats. Republican supporters are also calling the economy bad. In the poll, 4 out of 10 voters are talking about change. Most people consider the Republican Party to be associated with rich and powerful people compared to the Democratic Party.
Trump got low ratings on these issues
Most voters in the poll say that Democrats can better handle issues of income inequality, healthcare, inflation, economy and foreign policy. Republicans are ahead on crime. At the same time, the competition between the two is equal in matters of government expenditure and national security. The Trump government had an 8 point lead on the issue of immigration in an April Fox News poll. Now here too the Democrats have gone one point ahead of them.
If elections are held today, Democrat candidates will benefit.
The number of people excited to vote for Democrats in the midterm elections to be held in November is 68 percent in the poll. At the same time, the number of people voting for the Republican Party is 57 percent. This is 11 points less than the Democrats. At the same time, enthusiasm for voting is 25 points higher among MAGA Republicans at 66% compared to non-MAGA Republicans at 41%. Non-MAGA Republicans are those who support the Republican Party of America, but do not support Trump’s Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement or his radical policies.
According to a Fox News poll, if elections were held today, 53% of voters in their House district would support the Democratic candidate and 46% would support the Republican candidate. This 7 point lead is slightly more than the poll’s ‘margin of error’. Even in April, Democrats were ahead by 5 points. This is the most support any party has received on the House ballot in Fox News polling since 1996.
Trump’s job approval rating also declining?
The areas where the competition between Democrats and Republicans was tough in the US Presidential elections during the year 2024. There now the Democratic candidate is ahead by 59-41%. The Democrats are getting this benefit amid Trump’s low ratings and an environment of continuous economic despair. Trump’s job approval rating is 39%, which remains the same for the third consecutive month and is one point higher than his lowest level of 38% in October 2017. Trump’s approval rating is slightly lower than former President Barack Obama’s rating of 42% at the same time in his second term.
