Suddenly bullets started firing outside the White House in America’s capital Washington DC on Saturday evening. At that time, President Donald Trump was holding a meeting inside the White House regarding a possible peace agreement with Iran. Meanwhile, at the security checkpoint near the White House, a youth started firing indiscriminately at the Secret Service officers. The incident occurred at around 6 pm (US time) near 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.
According to the report, the young man had hidden the weapon in his bag. He suddenly took out a gun from the bag and started firing at the Secret Service agents stationed there. The Secret Service responded immediately. The suspect was seriously injured after being shot. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died. A passerby was also injured in this firing. At present it is not clear whether he was injured by the attacker’s bullet or in retaliatory firing. After this incident, questions started arising whether this shootout has any connection with Iran?
I was in the middle of taping on my iPhone for a social video from the White House North Lawn when we heard the shots. It sounded like dozens of gunshots. We were told to sprint to the press briefing room where we are holding now. pic.twitter.com/iqdQwh4soq

What is the Iran connection?
Former Defense Intelligence official Andrew Badger said Iran has used proxies and criminal networks in the past and could take advantage of such security vulnerabilities.
