After more than 100 days of conflict between America and Iran, a historic agreement has been drafted. But this draft made it clear that the real ‘Alexander’ is Iran’s Supreme Leader Mujtaba, whereas US President Trump had to make diplomatic ‘surrender’. The deal between Iran and America is almost finalized.
US President Donald Trump announced the agreement on the occasion of his 80th birthday. After a few hours, Iran also confirmed this. There is a possibility that this MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) will be signed in Geneva on June 19, in which Trump himself can attend.
Trump announced that start the ships around the world and let the oil flow. He tried to call it his victory, but after coming to know about the 14-point peace draft, it is being called Trump’s diplomatic surrender. At the same time, Iranian Supreme Leader Mujtaba has emerged as ‘Sikandar’ from conflict to peace talks.
Who has the upper hand in the deal?
The details have not been revealed officially, but if we look at the draft that has appeared in Iranian and Western media, Iran seems to have the upper hand.
What did Iran get?
complete ceasefire: There will be no attack on Iran. attacks in lebanon will stop
honor and return: America will respect Iranian sovereignty and will not interfere in internal affairs. American forces deployed near Hormuz will return.
blockade ends: The blockade of Iranian ports will end, oil export will be allowed.
big win: Iran’s missile program will continue. The nuclear program will be discussed after 60 days and uranium will not be sent out of Iran.
What did America get?
The road to Hormuz will open: The good news for Trump is that the sea route will open.
assurance of not making a nuclear bomb: Trump has claimed that Iran has given assurance of not making a nuclear bomb. Although Iran has already been saying that it is not making a nuclear bomb.
Trump slammed on nuclear insistence
The biggest confusion and Trump’s defeat is regarding Iran’s nuclear program. Trump’s old insistence was that he would completely end Iran’s nuclear program, but this did not happen. Trump wanted Iran to surrender its uranium to America, but there is no such provision visible in the deal.
Uranium will remain in Iran and Iran will dilute it in its plant. Iran will get permission for limited uranium enrichment for energy needs. This is the same Trump, who in 2018 took America out of Obama’s historic nuclear deal (allowing 3.67 percent enrichment) and talked about stopping uranium enrichment completely. Today he himself had to give exemption.
Has America bowed before the power of Iran?
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said, “The enemy that attacked Iran suffered defeat in all its goals. America itself was forced to demand a ceasefire and negotiations.”
Iran fought on every front in a way that Trump had not even imagined.
Military Front: Responded aggressively to American attacks.
Strategic Front: By closing Hormuz, it put pressure on the global economy.
Diplomatic Front: Showed no haste, rejected the first draft in Islamabad, included countries like Oman and Qatar in talks and tested Trump’s patience by prolonging the deal.
Israel refused the deal, created a stir
The biggest threat regarding the Iran-America deal is coming from Israel. While the whole world is happy with this deal, Israeli PM Netanyahu has not liked this agreement at all. Israel has refused to accept the peace agreement.
National Security Minister Ben Gvir said, “We are not slaves of America.” Defense Minister Katz said that the army will not retreat from southern Lebanon. There are fears that the Netanyahu government may launch a major campaign against Hezbollah or a direct attack on Iran to derail the deal.
However, Trump has clearly indicated that Washington will no longer support Israel’s every arbitrariness. Expressing displeasure over the attacks in Lebanon, Trump said that Netanyahu is not acting wisely. Will this deal last? It now depends on Israel’s next action. At present, Iran has trumpeted its victory and said that if the war in Lebanon does not stop, it will use its full potential. This is the biggest challenge facing America.
