US President Donald Trump announced that America will lift the blockade from Hormuz, but Iran will have to agree to never possess nuclear weapons. He said that the final decision on Iran will be taken soon. Donald Trump said on Friday that he was holding a meeting in the Situation Room to make a “final decision”. He has made a list of all the things that Iran will have to do to approve the deal to end the war. Let us tell you that there was an agreement between Iran and America for a ceasefire of 60 days, but it was not approved by Iran and Trump.
Trump demanded in a Truth Social post that Iran must “admit” to never possessing nuclear weapons, and said the Strait of Hormuz must be “immediately opened” to unhindered shipping traffic, along with other conditions.
Trump said that Iran must accept that it will never have a nuclear weapon or bomb. The Strait of Hormuz must be opened immediately, without tolls, to unhindered shipping traffic on both sides. All water mines (bombs), if any, will be destroyed.
Trump’s announcement to lift the blockade from Hormuz
He said that we have removed many such mines through detonation with our big underwater mine sweepers. Iran will immediately complete the removal and detonation of any remaining mines, which will not be in large numbers. He said ships stuck in the strait due to the naval blockade, which will now be removed, can begin the process of “returning home”. Say hello to your wives, husbands, parents and families from me, your favorite President!
He said that the enriched material, sometimes called nuclear dust, which is buried under the ground and on top of the almost collapsed mountains due to our powerful B2 bomber attack 11 months ago, will be extracted and destroyed by the United States, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
We trust action, not words: Iran
On the other hand, a social media account in the name of Iran’s parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf gave a cryptic but aggressive description of the status of the talks in a translated X-post on Friday morning. Ghalibaf wrote, “We achieve concessions not by negotiations, but by missiles; in negotiations, we merely explain them.”
“We do not believe in guarantees or words – the only measure is action. No action will be taken without action from the other side,” the post said. He said, “The winner of any agreement is the one who is better prepared for war from the next day.”
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi posted on Twitter that he spoke to his Omani counterpart and “showed Iran’s solidarity with Oman in the face of any threats.”
