You should have taken another ticket. In the end, TC cited the rules and issued a challan of Rs 500 to Aditya.

Angered by this, Aditya shared the video of the entire incident and the photo of the challan on his Instagram account @adityasinghchauhan01, which is now going viral on the internet. He asked the Railways, Does Rs 500 come free? When the train is late because of the Railways, why should I pay the fine? As soon as this video went viral, a debate broke out on the internet about the fault of the railways or the passenger. Well, if seen legally, TC is absolutely right in its place. According to railway rules, platform ticket is valid only for 2 hours. After this you either buy a new ticket or leave the platform.
