Manoj Bjapayee Rejections Story Throwback: Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee is full of projects today. He is working in many films. It would not be wrong to say that he is one of the most demanding actors in the industry. From films to web series, he has dominated the world. But there was a time when Manoj Bajpayee had to face a lot of rejections. He was expelled from the National School of Drama thrice during the struggling phase. After this he had to lose three projects in a single day. That too they were not even informed about it.

There was a corporate film and I had a lead role in that too. Another serial was about to start in which there was a second lead. I was expelled from all three on the same day. I went to shoot. The first take was done. Then suddenly the director and assistant director went into some room. Then the assistant came out, called me and took me to the costume room. Put on your clothes. What is it that something doesn’t feel right. If anything else happens we will let you know. That location was near Dadar station.
“I wore my clothes and came out. All the other shootings had stopped, so people had gathered outside. My co-stars were outside. It was like feeling insulted. But I did not cry. I was coming back by train and suddenly I remembered that it is a corporate film, its shooting is going on. I go and see what is happening. When I went there, I met Victor, who has made many films for Yash Raj. So Victor was assisting there. He asked me that I am fine after 2-3 days. Then Victor told me that he has not taken me to the room. He is trying to make me feel better.

There was leave from the third project also
“After this, I thought that I should also get an update of the third serial that is going to be happening. So I called the nearby PCO. Then the director’s assistant picked up and said that the director is not there yet. I asked him where the shooting is going on. Then he said that you were not told. You have been removed from this role and they are looking for another role for you.”
