Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday stressed on electing “good people” and pointed to the time before 2017, when “development was limited to just one village.” Yogi Adityanath said, “If you elect good people and a good government, the results will be good. If wrong people are elected, no one will be able to save you from the results.”
simultaneously Yogi He warned that if anyone tries to disturb the colors then his present will be destroyed and his future will also be completely destroyed.
He further said, “And, this used to happen. Before 2017, when the wrong government came, development used to be limited to just one village.”
Inauguration and foundation stone of projects worth Rs 516 crore in Gonda
He further said that his government built medical colleges in different districts of the state. Adityanath said, “(When) we had to build medical colleges, we did not say that it would be built in Saifai (the ancestral village of the Yadav family of the Samajwadi Party). We said that it would be built in Gonda, Bahraich, Balrampur, Ayodhya, Basti.”
The Chief Minister was speaking at the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony of 262 projects worth Rs 516 crore in Gonda. Remembering the time when Gonda was described as the dirtiest city in the country.
Yogi Adityanath said, “If in 2017 there was talk about the dirtiest city in the country, it was Gonda and, today, I can say that Gonda is making its mark as one of the cleanest cities in the country. When the wrong government is elected, the results are wrong. Today, Gonda is clean and is moving forward with a new identity.”

Along with this, Yogi said that during the year 2015-16, an attempt was made to spread riots on the occasion of Durga Puja in Gonda and at that time the immersion of the idol of Maa Durga was prevented. Even Ramlila was disrupted and disturbance started as soon as the festival started.
He said that neither the daughter nor the businessman were safe. Before 2017, the people in power in UP used to give shelter to goons and curfew was imposed in the state for months, but now if anyone tries to spoil the color of the festival, then both his present and future will be ruined.
