
Modi cabinet met on Wednesday. In this, PM Modi praised the ministers regarding NEET re-exam. The PM said, the ministers made a collective effort to complete the NEET Re-Exam without any hassle. The perspective of the whole government was visible in this entire process. During this, the Prime Minister advised that this model should be adopted on every occasion.
PM Modi told his cabinet members in today’s meeting that if everyone works together, any challenge can be faced and overcome. Let us tell you that in the NEET-UG re-exam held on June 21, more than 20 lakh candidates appeared at a total of 5,440 examination centers including 14 centers in the country and abroad. This examination was conducted in 13 languages including Hindi and English.
This is an example of the collective effort of the country
Regarding the examination, NTA had said that it was not just an examination, but an example of the collective effort of the entire country. Central and state governments, various ministries, security agencies, educational institutions and lakhs of employees together contributed to make the examination fair, safe and smooth. Security systems like Aadhaar based biometric and face authentication, CCTV surveillance, jammers and two-layer frisking were implemented at the examination centres. Command and control centers were set up at the national, state and district levels, from where the examination was monitored.
They also cooperated in the examination
CAPF, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of External Affairs, Indian Air Force, Department of Posts, NIC, MeitY, Ministry of Defense and many other government institutions cooperated in conducting the examination. Apart from this, banking partners like SBI, Canara Bank, Punjab National Bank and UCO Bank were also part of this process. Many state governments made arrangements for drinking water, shade and food for the candidates and their parents at the examination centres.
Ambulances and medical facilities were made available at many places. Whereas some states also provided free transportation facility to the students to reach the examination center. According to NTA, around 7 lakh officers, policemen, invigilators and examination personnel were deployed across the country for the successful conduct of the examination. The entire preparation and operation work was completed in a record 37 days.
