A case has come to light from Mexico’s Jalisco state, which has surprised people. For the last few days, there has been a lot of discussion about a mysterious person or some unknown group. It is being claimed that these people catch people suspected of stealing motorcycles, tie them to electric poles in public places and leave a poster with them, on which it is written about their alleged crime. After these incidents, people on social media are jokingly calling this unknown person as ‘Batman of Mexico’ or ‘Batman of Lagos de Moreno’. However, the police have made it clear that no person can be allowed to take the law into their own hands and the entire matter is being investigated seriously.
The case started on June 13. That day the local people saw a person tied to an electric pole. There was a cardboard board near him, on which it was written that he was involved in stealing motorcycles. This incident became a topic of discussion in the area. Initially people considered it an isolated incident, but after a few days more similar cases started coming to light.
What does this Batman do?
Similar incidents occurred on June 17 and again on June 19. Every time some person was tied up in a public place and a warning poster was placed near him. So far, information about this happening to at least five people has come to light. In all these cases, the method was almost the same, due to which it is being speculated that only one person or some organized group could be behind it.
These incidents have increased the concern of the local administration. Jalisco prosecutor Salvador Gonzalez de los Santos said those tied up in this way were being treated as victims for now. He clearly said that the allegations written on the posters cannot be considered true right now. Until the police completes the investigation, it would not be right to call any person a criminal.
What did people say?
The Prosecutor also appealed to the people not to reach any conclusion after seeing the pictures and posters going viral on social media. He says that the law works on the basis of evidence. If someone is suspected of theft, then investigation and action should be taken only through police and court. No person has the right to pass judgment or give punishment himself.
Meanwhile, pictures and videos of these incidents have spread rapidly on the internet. Many people on social media are praising this mysterious person and calling him a hero who stands up against criminals. Some users say that if such strict steps are taken against thieves, crimes will automatically reduce. This is the reason why many people have given him the name ‘Mexico’s Batman’.
