‘Jailor 2’ is the sequel to the 2023 film Jailer. It is being directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar. Rajinikanth will once again be seen in his old role of Muthuvel Pandian. Both the films Jailer 2 and Om are ready to be released in theaters in the year 2026, but they may clash with each other at the box office. For this reason, changing the release date is being considered.

According to a report, ‘Jailor 2’ may hit the theaters on Diwali 2026, while the release date of Dhanush’s film Om has been kept as 16 October 2026. Now it is being said in the report that the makers of ‘Jailor 2’ are considering changing the release dates with Dhanush’s movie ‘Om’.
Release of ‘Om’ may get postponed!
If this is true then it means that the release of Om can be pushed forward till November. However, no official statement has come out yet. There is just speculation about changing the release date.
