
After registering the FIR in the Ram Mandir donation theft case, further action is underway. Politics is also intense on this issue. The opposition is attacking the government. Meanwhile, the reaction of the state’s Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has come. Pathak said that there will be an impartial investigation into the allegations due to which Champat Rai has resigned from the post of General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. FIR has been registered in this matter. There will be fair investigation and action as per law.
Let us tell you that Champat Rai and member trustee Anil Mishra have resigned taking moral responsibility in the donation theft case. On the other hand, Ayodhya police has also arrested the accused Ram Shankar Yadav alias Tinu Yadav. This arrest took place after an FIR was registered at Ram Janmabhoomi Police Station, which was lodged by Trust member Krishna Mohan.
How many are named in the FIR?
The FIR has alleged criminal conspiracy among several employees involved in the counting and management of offerings in the temple premises. These people are accused of systematic theft, embezzlement and systematic misappropriation of money donated by devotees. 8 people have been named as main suspects in the case. Many unknowns are also involved.
Who are the accused?
The named accused include Avinash Shukla, Anukalp Mishra, Luvkush Mishra, Manish Kumar Yadav, Karunesh Pandey, Ramashankar Mishra, Subhash Srivastava, Ramashankar Yadav alias Tinu and Ashutosh Tiwari. Police said that they have completed the initial paperwork under the supervision of the officer in charge. Also a copy of the FIR has been given to the complainant.
Pawan Pandey had made this allegation
The case has been handed over to the Circle Officer of Ayodhya for further investigation into the alleged financial irregularities. This step was taken following the allegations of former SP MLA from Ayodhya Pawan Pandey, who had claimed that donations worth Rs 7 crore to Rs 7.5 crore received for the Ram temple were embezzled. In response to these claims, the state government, on the request of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, had constituted a three-member Special Investigation Team on June 14 to investigate the alleged scam.
