
A letter threatening blast was received in the sports club near SP Stadium in Ahmedabad, which created a stir. It is being told that the letter was found in a room of the club and the name of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim is written in it. Along with this it is also written that there will be a blast in the club on 21st June.
According to the information, three Tanzanian businessmen were staying in the room of the sports club where the letter was found. It is being told that after the room was vacated, when the cleaning staff were cleaning the room, a letter was found in the cupboard. The letter was found in room number 119 of the club in which a threat was given to blast on 21st June.
Security agencies searched the club
As soon as information about the incident was received, several teams including Bomb Squad, SOG, Dog Squad reached the spot and started investigation. Security agencies conducted a thorough search of the entire club for about two hours, however the team did not find anything suspicious.
The room was booked on doctor’s reference.
Investigation revealed that this room was booked on the reference of a doctor and three businessmen from Tanzania were staying in it. DCP Harshad Patel said that some businessmen had stayed in the club room on May 29 with the reference of Palak doctor. He checked out on 30th May. It is being told that all three businessmen are still in India.
Police engaged in investigation of the case
He told that while cleaning the room, a letter written in pencil was found, in which a threat was given to blow up the club with a bomb on June 21. He told that the police is talking to the person on whose reference the businessman had stayed here. Who wrote the letter and who kept it? Police are investigating whether the letter was kept after or before the foreign nationals checked out.
