There was an uproar over a catch in the final match of IPL 2026 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans. In this final being held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, host Gujarat was batting first. The team had a bad start and soon lost 3 wickets. Then Washington Sundar’s catch sprang up, which was caught by RCB fielder Jordan Cox. But the third umpire overturned this decision and on this issue Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar clashed with the umpire.
