‘There is a difference between disagreement and anarchy’…BJP’s counterattack on Rahul Gandhi, Nitin Naveen targeted

July 21, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President Nitin Naveen has attacked Congress regarding the protest near the Prime Minister’s residence. He said that the behavior shown by opposition leader Rahul Gandhi today is completely indecent and condemnable. Rahul Gandhi does not take the dignity of the post of Leader of the Opposition seriously, this was clearly visible in his behaviour. Even before this, Rahul Gandhi has been showing his indecent behavior.

Nitin Naveen said, I believe that ‘disagreement’ and ‘anarchy’ are different things in democracy. When the limits of decorum are crossed, it turns into anarchy. Now Rahul Gandhi has become a symbol of anarchy. There are some posts in parliamentary life which do not belong to any particular party. The Prime Minister is not just the leader of a party, but is the elected representative of 140 crore citizens.

The BJP President said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a personality on whom the entire country trusts and believes. Today, Rahul Gandhi’s attempt to spread anarchy at the Prime Minister’s residence gives a clear message. He is moving away from the politics of dissent and becoming a supporter of the politics of anarchy. He said that today’s incident is a dark day in history.

Dharmendra Pradhan will have to resign: Priyanka Gandhi

At the same time, after being released from the custody of Delhi Police, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said that students are the future of the country and there is no harm in listening to them. Expressing his support towards the students, he said that they had been treated very unjustly the previous day. Reiterating the demand for resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan, he said that democracy and the country itself belong to the youth, and in democracy everyone has the right to protest. Priyanka Gandhi further said that while she wants parliamentary discussion on these issues, the government does not want this.

Government did injustice to students: Akhilesh Yadav

After being released from the custody of Delhi Police, Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav said that the government should accept the demands of the students. They should accept their demands. But the government is not doing this. The injustice done by the government to the students. The way they were beaten, their heads were broken and bones were broken. Even the clothes of the girl students were torn. Is such behavior expected from a government in a democracy, especially when the protests are peaceful? We will raise this issue in the House.
