The shooting of the film ‘Pooja Meri Jaan’ was completed about 3 years and 11 months ago. According to the information, this film was made for release on OTT platform Jio Cinema, but after its merger with Hotstar, the release of the film got stuck. From the actors to the producers and directors of the film, they were also waiting for its release, now this wait is over and the movie is ready for release on OTT. In this, actresses Mrunal Thakur and Huma Qureshi will be seen sharing the screen together.
In ‘Pooja Meri Jaan’, Huma Qureshi is playing the role of an advocate (Sana), while the story of this film is built around the girl (Pooja) who is harassed by an unknown man, Mrunal Thakur. Along with emotional breakdown drama and suspense, courtroom drama will also be seen in the film.

‘Pooja Meri Jaan’ will be released soon on the OTT platform ZEE5. Its official announcement has also been made. However, the fixed date has not been announced. A video has also been shared by Zee5 in which there is the entire series of films which will be streamed on this OTT.
Sharing this news, the film’s director Navjot Gulati wrote, “Pooja my love. Will be releasing soon on Zee5, I wish I could tell my dad face to face, my Pooja (film) is coming!, but I am sure wherever her soul is. She will be the happiest.” Navjot Gulati has once spoken openly about this, he had told that his father passed away in 2024 and in the last few months of his life he kept asking when the film would be released.
This was also the reason for the film getting stuck
‘Pooja Meri Jaan’ was produced by Amar Kaushik and was supported by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. Information was revealed, the producer said that there was a dispute regarding the price of the film and even after getting the desired amount to Maddock Films, he was not ready to sell the film. After getting stuck on OTT, it was not even released in theaters.
