Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that some forces are not able to tolerate the progress of Punjab and the immense love being received from the people. He D.G.P. Instructions have been given to Punjab that every person involved in making, funding and making this fake video viral should be identified, no matter where in the world he is hiding, and he should be brought before the people. The Chief Minister appealed to Punjabis not to fall victim to politically motivated conspiracies.
Chief Minister Honor Said, “Today I am placing before you two reports. These are not reports from any laboratory in Punjab. These reports are from laboratories outside Punjab and are related to this video. A total of 1,191 frames were checked. All 1,191 frames were checked. Not a single frame from any angle matches my face, my side profile, my front profile, my eyes, my height, my physical structure or my body structure.”
The man in the video is two inches tall.
He further said, “The reports also say that the person seen in the video is almost two inches taller than me. How is it possible that my height suddenly increases by two inches in the video? Apart from this, I cannot even in my dreams think of doing something like this. No one knows when this video was recorded. No one knows where it was recorded. No one knows who actually made it viral. Only one thing is clear that when I take decisions in favor of the people of Punjab, those decisions are taken by some people.” Can’t bear it.”
The Chief Minister said, “On the basis of these two reports, I have directed the DGP Punjab to identify whoever committed this act, whoever arranged for the shooting of this video, who funded it, the room in which it was shot and wherever in the world it was made, and bring it to the notice of the Sangat.”
Tribute to younger Sahibzadas in the House
The Chief Minister said that when it came to paying tribute to the younger Sahibzadas, they were never paid tribute to them in the history of Parliament. Guru Sahib gave me that service and for the first time in the House, homage was paid to the younger Sahibzadas. Silence was maintained, their sacrifice was discussed and their martyrdom was respected. Now, as Chief Minister, the issue of vehicles carrying Palki Sahib had come before me. These vehicles were not exempted from tax. We have waived tax on all Palki Sahib vehicles across Punjab.
He further said, “We have exempted vehicles specially designed for carrying sacred scriptures of different religions in the state from motor vehicle tax. The exemption to these vehicles has been given keeping in mind the Nagar Kirtans taken out by various religious organisations, which serve as a catalyst to promote the spirit of communal harmony, peace and brotherhood.”
He further said, “During the 350th Martyrdom Day celebrations of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, we made excellent arrangements and the people appreciated those arrangements. For the first time in history, we dedicated the Punjab Assembly at the feet of the Guru by convening a special assembly session at Anandpur Sahib.” The Chief Minister said, “We have given the status of holy cities to Amritsar, Sri Anandpur Sahib and Talwandi Sabo, the cities related to Takht Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib and Takht Sri Damdama Sahib. No previous government had the courage to take such a decision.”
How can Congress and Akali unite?
The Chief Minister said, “I am a secular person. I want to work for all religions. Every person should have the freedom to practice his religion. Religion gives spiritual satisfaction to people and no one has any right to interfere in the religion of another person. The head of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee himself has given a public statement that he is a loyal soldier of Sukhbir Singh Badal. He should have said that he is a loyal soldier of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.” When a person holding such an important position openly calls himself a soldier of a political leader, then what else can people expect?
He also said that “Now the Congress, which demolished Shri Akal Takht Sahib, whose blood stains are still remembered by history, is also joining in this tune. According to them, Bhagwant Mann is responsible for everything. These three parties have now come together. They can come together as much as they want. I am not worried when the public stands united on one side. What saddens me is that Sikh institutions and “Despite the work I have done for the cause, such attacks are being made against me.”
