A young man died while two others were seriously injured in a tragic road accident while driving while watching a match on mobile phone in Telangana’s Jagatyala district. This incident shocked the people in the area and has also raised questions regarding road safety.
Speeding Thar falls into well
This accident happened on the outskirts of Morapalli village of Jagatyala rural mandal. Three youths named Nivesh, Ashwin and Arun were traveling in a Thar car. It is being told that at that time the IPL final match was going on on the mobile phone. Arun, who was driving, was concentrating on the mobile screen instead of the road. During this time, he lost control of the vehicle and the speeding Thar fell into a well on the roadside.
Two youths survived, Arun lost his life
After the accident the car overturned in the well. Despite being seriously injured, two other youths in the vehicle somehow managed to get out by breaking the windows. However, driver Arun was wearing a seat belt and could not get out in time. He died on the spot due to drowning in water. As soon as the information was received, police and rescue teams reached the spot. After about two hours of hard work, the body and the vehicle were taken out of the well.
Fans took to the streets after RCB’s victory
On the other hand, after the victory of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL final, the enthusiasm of fans in Telugu speaking states was at its peak. A large number of RCB supporters took to the streets in Hyderabad late at night. Bike rallies were taken out and traffic was affected in many areas due to sloganeering. The police also had to use mild force to control the situation.
Demolition incident in Kurnool
Some people also created ruckus during the celebrations in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. It is alleged that some youth pelted stones at a private bus parked on the roadside and broke its windows. The police is investigating the entire matter.
