The orgy of security forces continues in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). It is alleged that Pakistani security forces are torturing the protesters. An attempt is being made to suppress their voice by using excessive force on them. Amidst the anti-Pakistan movement, Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) member Sardar Shabbir has made serious allegations against the security forces.
Shabbir says that strict action is being taken against the protesters by the security forces. Action is being taken against them in such a way that they cannot raise their voice against the government again. He said that the situation is continuously worsening in different parts of the region and many people have become victims of violence. According to Sardar Shabbir, people were sitting on a peaceful dharna in Rawalakot keeping the body of a deceased. Meanwhile, security forces started taking action from all sides. He alleged that armored vehicles were used and tear gas shells were fired at the protesters. Many people were injured in this action, while some people also died.
Doctor, professor and woman shot
He told that after this the situation in Kotli also became tense. According to him, when the march that started from Chham Choundhian and Bhimbar reached Kotli, there was indiscriminate firing on the protesters. He claimed that firing was targeted at people, resulting in many casualties. Sardar Shabbir alleged that even when the injured people were taken to the District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital, security forces reached there. He said that Doctor Ehsan, who was present in the hospital, was shot. Apart from this, a professor and a woman also became victims of the firing.
More than a dozen people died in Kotli itself
He claimed that more than a dozen people have died in Kotli alone. The JAAC leader said that an atmosphere of repression and fear prevails throughout PoJK and there is no area left where people have not faced action by security forces. He has appealed to the international media, human rights organizations and Kashmiris living around the world to raise their voice on this issue and pay attention to the incidents.
