In this report which came out on July 14, it was also said that 1.25 lakh tickets of 'The Odyssey' have been sold for the first day of its release in India. Looking at this advance booking figure, it was said that the film can do a business of Rs 17-18 crore on the first day in India. It was also said that if advance booking picks up pace, this figure may go up to Rs 20 crore. Christopher Nolan's previous film 'Oppenheimer' was released on screens in India in 1923. The film did a business of Rs 14.45 crore on its opening day in India. In such a situation, if 'The Odyssey' performs as expected, then the record of 'Oppenheimer' will be broken.
