June 15, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Samajwadi Party (SP) Rajya Sabha MP Javed Ali Khan has given such a controversial statement in Moradabad, which has heated up the politics of the state. He has accused BJP of creating division in the society. He has said that the poison spread by BJP has affected the majority society of the country. The majority has become poisonous.

The SP MP said that it is easy to convince people in strongholds like Sambhal, but now the party is focusing on areas where Hindus are in majority. He said that the narrative spread by BJP has had a deep impact on the society. He said that he is not making any direct allegations, but the policies and statements of BJP have created such an environment in the entire country including Uttar Pradesh which has weakened the old mutual trust and brotherhood between different communities. He said that SP is now making a strategy to bridge this gap.

‘The majority society has become poisonous to a great extent’

SP MP in Moradabad Javed Ali Khan said that majority of the people have been poisoned by the poison spread by BJP and have now started swallowing it. He said that where minorities are less, the workers will have to understand. The majority society has become poisonous to a great extent. Mutual trust has broken on the basis of religion. He said that BJP has created such an environment due to which the distance between different sections of the society has increased. People’s trust in each other on the basis of religion has broken.

He said that the Samajwadi Party will try to strengthen its organization and convey its message to the people even in those areas where the minority population is less and the Hindu population is more. He said that in such areas the workers will have to work harder to convince the people.

Controversial statement given in PDA conference

Rajya Sabha MP Javed Ali had attended the PDA conference of Samajwadi Party organized in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday (June 14). During this, while addressing the programme, he raised questions on the majority of the country. Now political rhetoric has started on this statement of SP MP.

Congress MP called the statement wrong

Congress MP Imran Masood has termed the statement of SP MP Javed Ali Khan as wrong. He said, ‘It is very wrong terminology. If the majority is not secular, then the very fabric of the country will deteriorate. It’s not because of some people that you can speak like this? It is wrong’.

Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi retaliated

Meanwhile, reacting to the statement of Javed Ali Khan, National President of All India Muslim Jamaat, Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi said that
After 1947, India became independent and every person here, whether Muslim, Hindu or a follower of any religion, is free and lives his daily life with freedom and also performs religious activities. He said that whatever the SP MPs are saying are baseless. He said that there is no atmosphere of fear anywhere. Everyone is going about their daily lives.

‘There is no atmosphere of fear…’

He said that the Samajwadi Party which now claims Muslim dominated areas is easy to explain here, but it is not so. He said that the most difficult task for the Samajwadi Party will be to convince the Muslims in Muslim dominated areas in 2027. Because of the current environment and the actions of Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav in the past, the attitude he has adopted towards Muslims and the policies he has adopted, he will have to answer for it in the 2027 assembly elections.

Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi said that Muslims will hold every candidate of Samajwadi Party by the collar and ask why did you remain silent on Gyanvapi Masjid? Why did you remain silent on Mathura Idgah Shahi Masjid? Why did you remain silent on Babri Masjid? He said that why did the party remain silent on all the issues facing Muslims? He said that when Azam Khan went to jail then why did SP choose silence and when more than a dozen Muslim Kayadats went to jail then why did you remain silent.
