
Samsung’s next generation foldable smartphones are now just a day away from the launch, before the official launch, information related to the price of the new foldable phone has been leaked. New retailer listings from Europe suggest that the price of Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 could be quite high, raising the question whether Indian buyers will also have to pay more this year? Although Samsung has not yet revealed the India price, the pricing trend seen for some time and the latest leaks suggest that the upcoming foldable phone may probably be a little more expensive than the previous model.
Hint of expensive foldables
Samsung So the official prices will be announced during the event itself, but the clearest indication from the initial retailer listing in Europe is that this year’s foldables will not be cheap. The leaked prices first came to light when a Portuguese online store accidentally published product pages ahead of launch. Electronics sold in Portugal are subject to 23 per cent VAT, so these figures are expected to be higher than the prices paid by buyers in many other European countries.

The listing shows that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 may have two storage options, 256GB and 512GB. The price of these variants is expected to be 1349 Euro (approximately 1.48 lakh) and 1549 Euro (approximately 1.71 lakh).

Buyers thinking of buying Samsung’s book-style foldable can get three variants of this phone, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. The leaked prices show that the starting price of this phone can be 2069 Euro (about 2.28 lakh), the price of 512GB model can be 2269 Euro (about 2.50 lakh) and the price of 1TB variant can be up to 2669 Euro (about 2.94 lakh).
