There is great news for cricket lovers. JioStar has acquired the exclusive rights for TV and digital broadcast of The Hundred 2026 tournament in India. This means that now all the matches of this tournament in India will be live streamed on JioHotstar, while their live telecast on TV will be on Star Sports Network.
The company has made its official announcement on Tuesday. Earlier, the broadcasting rights of this tournament in India were with Sony Pictures Networks India. Now JioStar has taken over the broadcasting rights of both men’s and women’s competitions.

Now with the addition of The Hundred, its sports portfolio has become stronger. The presence of Indian cricketers along with big players of the world will further increase the popularity of this tournament among the Indian audience.

This time a total of 68 matches will be played in The Hundred 2026. Cricket fans will be able to watch all the matches on mobile, smart TV and other digital devices through JioHotstar. For TV viewers, the matches will be telecast on Star Sports channels.
Will start from 21st July
The sixth season of this tournament organized by England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is starting from July 21. The first day will be played at The Oval with double header matches. The final matches will be held at Lord’s on 16th August.

The Hundred was started in 2021 by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). This is a different and faster format of cricket, in which each team plays only 100 balls.
