Bharat Tiwari’s brother Chandan Tiwari told a press conference at the Aam Aadmi Party office in Delhi that Bharat Tiwari’s parents are also coming to Delhi and will reach in some time. Bharat’s family will protest at Jantar Mantar from 10 am on Sunday. According to the family, this protest will be against corruption.

The family told that we have brought the soil from the place where Bharat Tiwari’s encounter took place. We swear by this that we will not back down until Bharat Tiwari gets justice.

Bharat’s brother and sister-in-law did not come to testify

Action is also being taken in the judicial investigation of this encounter case. On the instructions of the Judicial Inquiry Commission, Jagdishpur SDPO Pankaj Kumar Mishra has issued summons to 6 witnesses, out of which four witnesses are residents of Biloti village and two witnesses are residents of Javainiya village. These witnesses have been asked to come before the commission and present their side. Meanwhile, Bharat Tiwari’s parents appeared before the Judicial Inquiry Commission on Saturday and presented the facts related to the incident and their side. However, despite receiving summons from the Commission, Bharat Tiwari’s brother and sister-in-law did not come to testify.

What is the whole matter?

On June 17, Bharat Tiwari, a resident of Biloti village, died in the hospital during treatment after an alleged police encounter. After this, the matter gained so much importance that the state government had to constitute a judicial inquiry commission under the chairmanship of retired Patna High Court judge Justice Vinod Kumar Sinha. The office of this commission has been set up in the DPRC building located in Arrah, where all the parties related to the case are heard.
