The Deverakonda Foundation: Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have given scholarships to 180 promising students from 45 schools for better education through ‘The Deverakonda Foundation’. For this, Rashmika and Vijay had reached Achampet Mandal of Telangana on Sunday. Thummanpet of Achampet is Vijay’s ancestral village, it is here that his father was born and it is here that he grew up. This is the reason why this village is very special for Vijay. Vijay and Rashmika had dreamed of a scholarship program for children in February this year, which they have now completed.

In the post, Vijay wrote, “We are going to Thummanpet. A small village, where my father was born. In February, Rashmika Mandanna and I had announced the beginning of our small dream, through which we had decided to reward the hardworking students of class 9th and 10th of Achampet mandal of Telangana. Here is the list of 180 students who have made their parents proud.”
