Yudhveer Ahlawat is a resident of a small village (Rithal) in Rohtak district of Haryana and belongs to a big and patriotic family. Yudhveer’s father Ajit Singh Ahlawat was in BSF (Border Security Force), who dedicated his life in protecting the borders of the country. Due to my father being in the army, there was always an atmosphere of discipline and patriotism in the house.
Yudhveer has 3 elder brothers and 2 sisters in his family. The interesting thing is that all the other brothers of Yudhveer are quite tall and of military build with a height of about 6-6 feet, but among them all, Yudhveer is a little shorter in terms of height. Because of his small stature and very innocent face, at first glance he looks like a schoolboy of only 12-13 years. Even in the film ‘Kartavya’, this look of hers baffles the audience. But you will be surprised to know that this is just an ‘illusion’. About 5-6 years ago, when his first film ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ was released, he himself smilingly revealed in an interview that people considered him a child, even though at that time he was 28 years old. That means, as of today, Yudhveer is around 33-34 years old. Because of his ageless and boyish look, he is able to play the character of a very young helpless boy on screen with such intensity and liveliness.
After father’s departure, mother became the biggest shield.
A big emotional turning point in Yudhveer’s life came when his BSF retired father died suddenly about 8 years ago. Due to father’s departure, a mountain of sorrow fell on the entire family. In such difficult times, Yudhveer’s mother stood as his biggest shield and courage. Yudhveer himself had emotionally told that whether it was helping him financially or encouraging him mentally, his mother and brothers and sisters always supported him completely. Due to the selfless support of his family, today this boy, who studied from Neki Ram Sharma Government College, Rohtak, has been able to make his mark in the glamor of Mumbai.
