The film was liked a lot at that time.The cast of the film was very long and it also featured the performances of veteran actors like Om Shivpuri, Paresh Rawal, Shakti Kapoor, Shadasiv Amrapurkar, Gulshan Grover, Sharat Saxena, Raza Muraj and Satyendra Kapoor. Chunky Pandey and Safi Honest were also in important roles in the film.
