
Thalapathy Vijay Yohan Adhyayam Ondru: There have been many such films in Bollywood, whose announcement was made with great fanfare. But these films could not be made before or after the shooting started. Apart from Bollywood, this has happened with many movies in South also. The names of films like ‘Marudhanayagam’, ‘Marupu’, ‘Satyagrahi’ and ‘Karikalan’ are included in this list. Apart from these, there was also a film of Thalapathy Vijay, whose announcement created a lot of discussion, but due to various reasons this movie could not be made. The name of this movie of Thalapathy Vijay was ‘Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru’, which was announced in 2011. Its first look was also revealed. But due to creative differences the makers stopped it.
Gautam Menon was going to direct this film. Creative difference is considered to be the reason for the closure of ‘Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru’. Gautam Vasudev Menon himself once mentioned this project and said that after one year of pre-production Thalapathy Vijay Vijay felt that the story of the film looked ‘too much like an English film’, due to which Vijay decided to withdraw from the project.
Thalapathy Vijay’s film got canned
In the year 2011, director Gautham Menon had announced to make the film ‘Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru’ with Thalapathy Vijay. At that time the director’s career was at its peak and he had given many hit films. This project was a spy thriller film about an Indian man working with the CIA. Its scale and budget were huge because Gautham had envisioned it as an international spy thriller with a mostly foreign cast. Its shooting was to take place in New York and many international locations in 2012.

The first poster has arrived
In December 2011, the first look and poster of ‘Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru’ was released by the makers (Eros International and Photon Kathas). This international action-thriller film stars A.R. Rahman was going to give music. According to reports, this project got shelved because Gautham Menon did not have the complete script ready and Vijay wanted to start work only after reading the complete script. Also, Vijay felt that this story would not be able to connect with the Indian audience, after which he refused to do this film.
That’s why Thalapathy Vijay left ‘Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru’
According to media reports, Vijay backed out a few days before the shooting of this film. He walked away from this project because he considered it too “English film”. The superstar was afraid that this film would break the connection he had built with his special fanbase. Due to this, Thalapathy Vijay decided to leave this film.
