The local police said in an official statement that 90 rounds were fired to stop the terrorists. After the incident, army has been deployed in the entire area. A thorough investigation is being done. Some people have also been detained for questioning in the case.
The forest located near Chittagong where this incident took place is of 3 thousand acres. Due to it being a hilly area, the army does not have dominance here. Bangladesh Army has been struggling for a long time to achieve this.
