
Telangana News: The police and administration have taken major steps in the sensational case of murder of six people in Shabad of Rangareddy district of Telangana. Circle Inspector (CI) and Sub-Inspector (SI) of Shabad have been suspended amid allegations of negligence in the case. At the same time, the police has announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh for the arrest of the main accused Rajkumar. Eight special teams have been formed to search for the accused, while the investigation into the case has been intensified.
People’s anger erupted after 6 murders
After the mass murder, there was huge anger in Shabad area. Local people and victims’ families protested by blocking the road. The protesters allege that earlier complaints had been made against the accused in the case related to the POCSO Act, but the local police did not take any effective action in time. People say that if timely action had been taken on the complaints, such a major incident could have been avoided.

The victim’s family made serious allegations against the police
The victim’s family alleged that the main accused Rajkumar was getting protection from the local police. The family members claim that the then SI and Inspector of Shabad helped in saving the accused from arrest. Because of this, the courage of the accused increased and finally this painful incident happened. However, these allegations have not been officially confirmed yet.
Administration confident, strict action will be taken against culprits
After the incident, senior police officers and the District Collector reached the spot and tried to pacify the people. The officials assured that strict action will be taken against the officials and culprits who are negligent at any level in the case. In this sequence, CI and SI of Shabad have been suspended.
Reward of Rs 2 lakh on the main accused
Police have announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh for the arrest of the absconding main accused Rajkumar. Police have said that the identity of the person giving accurate information about the accused will be kept completely confidential. During investigation, the police got information that the accused had reached Shabad in a rented car. Now the police is busy interrogating the vehicle owner and people associated with him to find out the activities of the accused.
8 special teams are searching for the accused
The police have formed eight special investigation teams to arrest the main accused. These teams are raiding different places. They are searching for the accused on the basis of technical evidence as well as CCTV footage and other clues. Police claim that the accused will be arrested soon.
Meanwhile, advocate Rama Rao Immanani has lodged a complaint about this entire matter with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). In the complaint, he has alleged that the local police officials did not take the previous complaints of the victims seriously. He has demanded strict action against the concerned officials, immediate arrest of the accused and providing security to the victim’s family.
