Yes, it may seem strange to read and hear this but it is going to happen. The cricket boards of India and Afghanistan have agreed on such a series and it can be organized in September. According to the information, Arun Jaitley Stadium of New Delhi can be the venue of this series.

According to this, this India-Afghanistan series can be played entirely in Arun Jaitley Stadium only. 3 T20 matches are to be played in this series, which can be held on 13, 15 and 17 September. However, there is no official announcement from both the boards on the venue and dates yet, but it is believed that this announcement can be made soon and Delhi can get the hosting of these three matches. This series will be played just before the Asian Games 2026.
