Actor Varun Dhawan was recently seen in a funny video on comedian Tanmay Bhatt’s YouTube channel. In this video, some other well-known faces from the world of comedy like Rohan Joshi, Piyush Sharma and Zakir Khan were also sitting with him. During our conversation, Tanmay took a dig at the box office collection of Varun’s films.

Praising Varun, Tanmay jokingly said – ‘Brother, you have to appreciate the hard work you are doing for the promotion of your new film. It takes a lot of courage to work so hard, that too just so that you can earn only 1 percent of the earnings of Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar’. Varun Dhawan, not feeling bad about this statement of Tanmay, laughed out loud. He said laughingly – ‘Man, to tell you the truth, after such a huge success of ‘Dhurandhar’, now a strange pressure has come on all of us artists that brother, we too will have to do something big now.’

Collection of ‘Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai’

Let us tell you that director Aditya Dhar’s film ‘Dhurandhar’ has shaken the box office in terms of earnings. Its first part had collected Rs 1307 crore all over the world. The second part earned more than Rs 1812 crore. By combining both the films, this franchise has done a business of more than Rs 3000 crores. On the other hand, Varun Dhawan’s new film ‘Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai’ has hit the theaters on June 5. This film, made under the direction of David Dhawan, is getting mixed responses. The film has earned Rs 7 crore so far.
