Rajya Sabha by-elections are going to be held on three seats in West Bengal. This election will be held on the seat which became vacant due to the resignation of three Trinamool Congress MPs. Earlier, former Trinamool MPs Sukhendu Shekhar Roy, Prakash Chik Badaik and Sushmita Deb joined BJP on Thursday in the presence of BJP state president Samik Bhattacharya. On the other hand, MPs Yusuf Pathan and Shatabdi Roy, who recently joined NCPI from Trinamool, are present in Nabanna.
