Surender Sharma on Comedian Kapil Sharma: Things change and meanings change according to every era. Nothing is stable. There was a time when Mushairas used to take place. There used to be meetings of comedy and satire. Whatever the poet wanted to explain had some meaning and the listeners not only listened to it with interest but also understood it. Used to enjoy. Now comic poet Surendra Sharma is disappointed with the increasing vulgarity on the stages. He spoke calmly on this issue in TV 9’s exclusive podcast. He also reacted to standup comedians like Kapil Sharma and Samay Raina.
Talking about Kapil Sharma, one of the most popular comedians of the country, Surendra Sharma said that Kapil Sharma does not do comedy but ridicules. Send it for half an hour, you can’t make people laugh alone in public. Surendra further said that if you want to make fun of someone, then make fun of yourself. It may be that people like it at that time but it should not happen. Not every comedy is good. Ravana used to leave laughing while kidnapping Sita. This was wrong. We brought that thing to the man. Humor emerged in the country only after independence. Humor was for monsters. Have you ever seen Ram laughing anywhere?

Why did Surendra Sharma not go to Kapil Sharma’s show?
Many big personalities have been invited to Kapil Sharma’s show. Poets are also included in this. Surendra Sharma was asked that many comedians had gone to Kapil Sharma’s show but he was not seen. On this the poet said – “There are two things. If you call me, then call Kapil Sharma or he is not his PA. I also have some structure. Kapil Sharma has gone to many shows with me. It is not his own creation. Send him in public for half an hour, he cannot make me laugh alone.” While talking about Sunil Pal, who was viral on social media recently, the comic poet said – ‘He does mimicry, you wouldn’t call him a poet. There are many genres of humor but not all are poetry.
