Surendra Sharma on Samay Raina: Humorous poet Surendra Sharma has been writing poetry for decades and has inspired many generations through his poetry. Recently, Surendra Sharma ji spoke openly during a special podcast of TV9. During this, he was asked about the current era of comedy humor and increasing vulgarity on stage. Besides, he was also asked about Samay Raina. Surendra ji spoke openly on all this, although he refused to directly recognize Samay Raina.

Surendra Sharma was asked a question about Samay Raina and the controversy related to him and his upcoming show. Responding to this, the poet said – “Nowadays, stand up comedians come and keep abusing. I don’t know Samay Raina. There are many other things to listen to. Do they sell good tickets? I have neither heard anyone’s name nor do I watch it. I just do my work. I don’t even like to discuss about these people. The thing which father and daughter cannot see or hear while sitting together is wrong. In which the family cannot sit and listen.” There should be a ban on being naked if you don’t have money, but anything that breaks a man’s life should be banned.

Why is what happens between 10 people and not between crores?

Surendra Sharma ji also blamed the audience for this and said that if people themselves go to see all this, then why blame others. The poet said- ‘We are going ourselves. We are accepting to see all this and they themselves are showing it. If among friends we sit and talk among 10 people then why are we talking about it among crores of people. If someone has sexual intercourse, will he show it on stage? It is not important what people want to see, it is important what should be shown to the people. What is not necessary should be removed.
