Before ‘Bantwara 1947’ hits the theatres, PVR INOX will re-release Sunny Deol’s old films for three weeks.

There is good news for Sunny Deol’s fans. PVR INOX is re-releasing three films of the famous duo of Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi – Damini, Ghatak and Ghayal. Before the release of ‘Bantwara 1947’, these films will be shown especially in theatres. This special retrospective will run for three weeks, starting with ‘Damini’.

Sunny Deol’s ‘Damini’ will be re-released in theaters on 24th July, ‘Ghatak’ will return to theaters on 31st July and the celebration will end with the re-release of ‘Ghayal’ on 7th August. These classic films of Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi will create a strong atmosphere in the theater for their upcoming film ‘Bantwara 1947’. All these three films have made their own place in the film industry and have left a deep impression in the hearts of the audience, due to which people talk about them even after years.
When will partition 1947 release?
Talking about ‘Partition 1947’, this film made in collaboration with Aamir Khan Productions is based on Asghar Wajahat’s famous play ‘Jis Lahore Nayi Vekhya, O Jamya E Nayi’. This film is made on the background of the partition of India-Pakistan in 1947. Apart from Sunny Deol, it also includes Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, Abhimanyu Singh and Karan Deol. Cinematography by Santosh Sivan and A.R. ‘Bantwara 1947’, composed with Rahman’s music (with lyrics by Javed Akhtar), is going to be released in theaters on August 14.
