Sunjay Kapur Case Wife Priya Kapur Moves Delhi HC: After the demise of famous businessman and actress Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sanjay Kapoor, the ongoing dispute regarding his property is not stopping. A new twist is coming in this matter every day. Now Sanjay’s wife Priya Kapoor has approached the Delhi High Court in this matter and has sought clarification in the ongoing proceedings in this case. During this time, he has focused on the expenses on the education of Karisma Kapoor’s two children.
Priya Kapoor filed an application in the Delhi High Court against the late Sanjay Kapoor Clarification has been sought in the ongoing estate proceedings. The focus of Priya’s petition is to ensure uninterrupted payment of the education and maintenance expenses of Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira Kapoor and Kiaan Raj Kapoor.
What are Priya Kapoor’s demands in the application?
The application seeks clarification regarding the operation of certain accounts to cover expenses related to school and university fees, boarding, lodging and overseas property in the US and UK. It clarifies that no change is being sought in the court’s interim protection over the estate and that the application has been made solely to facilitate the continuation of essential financial responsibilities during the ongoing legal proceedings.

What is Sanjay Kapoor’s property dispute?
Sanjay Kapoor’s property dispute started after his death in the year 2025. During this time, Karisma Kapoor’s two children Samaira and Kiaan had filed a petition in the court and demanded to keep their father’s property safe. On his part, the will of his father’s property was described as suspicious and a demand was also made for its investigation. The court had put an interim stay on Sanjay Kapoor’s property till a conclusion was reached and had asked him to use the money for necessary expenses including children’s education.
Since then, this case has been heard several times but no concrete result has been reached. In the same case, Sanjay’s mother Rani Kapoor was advised by the court some time ago to settle the case citing age.
