Dipke said, “I have already spoken about the lathi charge. It was very barbaric and we will take the police officers who carried out this to court. Today is the 34th day of our protest. Sonam sir’s hunger strike continues. Today is the 26th day of her hunger strike, so our protest will continue until our demands are met. But, we are requesting Sonam sir to end her hunger strike because we would not have lost her life.” Can.”
‘Internet has been shut down’
Abhijeet Deepke wrote on social media platform ‘X’, ‘Internet service has been stopped at Jantar Mantar. Is the government preparing another drastic action? In another post, Deepke appealed to the police and paramilitary forces deployed at the protest site not to use force against the protesters. He said that do not follow orders to take action against innocent protesters and stand with the public.
This statement has come at a time when the protesters are protesting at Jantar Mantar for the third consecutive day after the ‘Sansad Chalo’ march on July 20. During that time, Delhi Police had lathicharged and released tear gas shells to stop the protesters moving towards the Parliament.
