After this, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that the entire discussion was focused only on the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections and council elections to be held in Karnataka. KC Venugopal said that today, we held a detailed meeting with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi. CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, General Secretary in-charge of Karnataka and he himself were part of the discussion. The entire discussion was focused only on the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections and council elections in Karnataka. He said that the candidates for Rajya Sabha and Council seats of Karnataka will be announced along with the seats of other states. Today we have decided just this, nothing else. At the same time, there is talk that long marathon meetings were held with Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in Delhi.
