SS Rajamouli On Varanasi: Veteran filmmaker SS Rajamouli is currently in Europe. He has taken a break from the work of his next film ‘Varanasi’ and participated in the ongoing Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France. Rajamouli’s films ‘RRR’ and ‘Eega’ have been screened in this film festival. During this, Rajamouli talked to the people present there and answered important questions regarding his next film i.e. ‘Varanasi’. He confirmed that ‘Varanasi’ will not be released in two or three parts, but will be a single film.
‘VaranasiDuring the conversation, SS Rajamouli said, “You are going to experience the cold and snow of Antarctica. You are going to experience the gods of Ramayana, natural disasters and also magnificent things. These are the things that you will experience, but at the core of all this are the feelings of father and son. All this together creates the experience of Varanasi for you.”

During this time someone asked him whether this project would be a single film or a franchise? Rajamouli replied, “A film. Yes, a film.” Rajamouli made ‘Baahubali’ in two parts. One is ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ and the other is ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’. Both his films were successful in earning bumper earnings. The second part had earned more. Whereas ‘RRR’ was made by Rajamouli in one part. This was also an all time blockbuster.

Varanasi is a big project of Rajamouli. Reports say that its budget is around Rs 1300 crore. in the movie Mahesh BabuPrithviraj Sukumaran and Priyanka Chopra are in important roles. Through this film, Priyanka Chopra is making a comeback in Indian cinema after almost 8 years. Many sequences of the film have been shot, but important scenes are still to be shot. Rajamouli himself has told this in a conversation.
