Spicy drinks without sugar…will keep your body cool during the 9 hot days of Nautapa, you will not feel heat stroke!

Buttermilk is also a great energy giving drink in summer which is rich in protein as well as Vitamin D and calcium. If you want to make sugar-free drinks a part of your diet during Nautapa, then you should drink masala buttermilk with mint. Add paste of mint leaves in buttermilk. Add green chilli paste as per taste in it. Apart from this add black salt. Just enjoy the refreshing mint buttermilk. To make this, put water, crushed mustard, chopped vegetables like carrot, beetroot in a glass jar and ferment it for 1-2 days. After this filter and drink. Put it in a cup of boiling water and cook while stirring continuously until it becomes a thick shiny mixture. Now keep it in a pot and keep it immersed in water. It will ferment by morning, then add whipped curd or buttermilk to it. Add salt as per taste, roasted cumin powder along with green chillies and finely chopped onion. Which will keep the body cool and hydrated and will also improve the gut. Soak cooked rice in water overnight. Mash the rice with your hands in the morning. Add whey i.e. buttermilk to it. Add crushed ginger, green chillies, lemon juice, curry leaves, lemon leaves (crushed by hand), cumin powder and salt.
