After the funeral, Sohail posted on Instagram and wrote, “Today I lost my beautiful sister, no one in this world can take her place. I am worried about Jaggi and Kabir because Kumud was their lifeline. Times like these make you realize how difficult life is and you start questioning God. I pray that she is happy wherever she is, we will always remember her.”

Who was Kumud Rane?
Kumud was a family friend of Salman Khan. It is said that she was admitted to a hospital in Santa Cruz, Mumbai, where she breathed her last. Kumud was a hair stylist and ran a salon in Bandra. However, she was ill for a long time due to cancer. Kumud had shared a picture of herself on Instagram on February 5 last year, which proved to be her last post.
