Shweta Tiwari On Sonam Wangchuk: Activist Sonam Wangchuk is on hunger strike at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. The hunger strike that has been going on for almost 18 days seems to be affecting his health as well. His health is worsening. Many big Bollywood stars including Aayush Sharma, Sonakshi Sinha, Vishal Dadlani have supported him and expressed concern about his health. Now the statement of TV actress Shweta Tiwari has also come. Supporting Sonam Wangchuk, Shweta said that she feels that the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) is using her for its agenda.

Shweta Tiwari wrote a long post on her Instagram story and said, “Sonam Wangchuk Fighting for a right cause. For the education and future of our children. That cause should be addressed and the government should hear from them. I have no inclination towards CJP at all. I disagree with the way that party is handling this and I think they are using their struggle to further their own agenda. I don’t support that approach.”

Shweta Tiwari further wrote, “My support is for Sonam Wangchuk and the cause she is fighting for, and not for any political group or organization that is trying to take advantage of it. Whatever our political differences, we cannot afford to lose a person who has dedicated his life to the country and education. The entire focus should be on his message, his health and finding a meaningful solution.”

Through this post, Shweta Tiwari expressed concern about the deteriorating condition of Sonam Wangchuk, but at the same time she also clearly said that her support is for Sonam Wangchuk, not for CJP.
