Shreyas Talpade Home Loan Story: Shreyas Talpade is a well-known name in the film industry today, but there was a time when he had to struggle hard to buy his first house in a city like Mumbai. Even the bank had flatly refused to give him a home loan. In such difficult times, the ‘King’ of Bollywood i.e. Shahrukh Khan and famous director Farah Khan had come forward as messiahs for them. Recently, Shreyas himself has revealed this interesting and very emotional story. He told how his dream of buying a house was fulfilled with a signature of Shahrukh Khan.
Choreographer and film director Farah Khan is very active on her YouTube channel these days. She often visits celebrities’ homes and shoots vlogs and shows fans a glimpse of their homes. Recently Farah reached the house of her superhit film ‘Om Shanti Om’ actor Shreyas Talpade. During the conversation, Shreyas told how the 2007 film ‘Om Shanti Om’ had proved to be a big turning point for his career and personal life. Shreyas said emotionally, “Thanks to this film I was able to buy my first house in Mumbai.”
When the female officer of the bank put this condition for giving loan
Sharing the funny and difficult story of not getting a loan Shreyas Talpade He told, “I had gone to the bank to take a home loan for my first house, but due to paperwork and rules, I was not able to qualify for the loan. The bankers were not ready to give me a loan. Then a lady officer working there asked me, ‘What film are you working in these days? I told her that I am doing a film named ‘Om Shanti Om’.”
Shreyas further said, “After this the lady asked me who are the big actors in this film? I replied that Shahrukh Khan Is in the lead role. Then he asked the name of the director, so I took the name of Farah Khan. After hearing all this, the lady officer asked me, “Can you give any solid proof or letter for this?”
Loan confirmed with a letter from Shahrukh!
After coming back from the bank, Shreyas immediately called Farah Khan and told her his entire problem. Farah spoke directly to Shahrukh Khan without any delay. Shreyas told, “Within just two days, Farah got me an official confirmation letter signed by Shahrukh Khan. As soon as I deposited that letter in the bank, my home loan was approved by the evening of the same day.”
Farah Khan was also very happy to hear this, but she took a dig at Shreyas in her signature witty style and said, “I am very happy today, because I remember very well how little money we gave you for ‘Om Shanti Om’.” Hearing these words of Farah, Shreyas and his wife started laughing loudly.
