According to a recent tipster, the company may soon increase the prices of iPhone 17 series in India. New stock of iPhone is expected to reach dealers in India by next weekend.

Apart from this, the increase in prices of iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to have an impact. However, the increased prices of these models are yet to be revealed. Both models are currently available at a starting price of Rs 1,34,900 and Rs 1,49,900 respectively. There is no information about whether the price of iPhone Air can also be increased in India or not.

Apple has informed iPlanet dealers that the iPhone 17 could start at ₹94,990 in India from the first week of August, a ₹12,000 jump from the iPhone 17’s launch price of ₹82,990.

The tipster iPhone Also pointed to the ongoing supply shortage for 17 series retail units. According to the leak, Apple has informed the supply chain that new stock of iPhones should reach dealers by next weekend, while availability is currently disrupted across India.
iPhones became costlier by 11.3 percent in Japan
Apple has recently increased the prices of iPhone in Japan by 11.3 percent. For example, the price of iPhone 17 has increased from JPY 129,800 (approximately Rs 76,900) to JPY 142,800 (approximately Rs 84,600). Changes have also been made in the prices of iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Apple had made a big change in prices in India also last month. Because of this, many Mac, MacBook, iPad, Apple TV and HomePod models have become more expensive, with prices increasing from Rs 5,000 to Rs 1 lakh. Apple has attributed this increase to the rising prices of DRAM and NAND flash storage amid the increasing demand for components in the AI industry.
