
DK Shivakumar First Moves: Shortly after becoming the Chief Minister, Karnataka’s new CM DK Shivakumar has taken big and important decisions for the youth of Bengaluru and the state. DK took a big step for the thing for which Bengaluru is infamous all over the world. Bengaluru is called the ‘IT capital’ of the country. But bad roads, potholes and traffic jams are a big problem here. To fix it and improve the roads DK Shivakumar The government has fixed a budget of Rs 2000 crore in its first decision. Apart from this, decisions regarding employment were also taken.
In fact, many houses or buildings in Bengaluru have been built without proper planning or by breaking government rules (exceeding the prescribed height). According to the order of the Supreme Court, instructions were given to disconnect electricity and water connections of houses violating such rules. To save the public from this crisis, the government is bringing a new scheme, so that these unauthorized houses can be regularized.
Unauthorized houses will get relief
Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said that houses have been constructed in Bengaluru without proper planning. There are court orders prohibiting providing electricity and water connections to such houses. It has been decided to issue Completion and Occupancy Certificate (CC/OC) for 30 to 40 sites. Also, a one time settlement scheme will be introduced for properties up to 2500 square feet.

Made a big announcement for the youth also. He said that his government will try to create 50,000 posts in the state. He said that till the next cabinet meeting we will discuss about issuing notification and a calendar regarding jobs.
Shivkumar said that we have taken a big decision regarding employment. For anyone looking for a job in the private sector, we are launching a Private Employment Exchange Programme. We will nominate job-seeking youth and ask them what type of job they want. We will train them, prepare them and ensure that they get jobs there.
He said that but there is a condition in this, that is that priority will be given to those youth of Karnataka who are looking for jobs. Apart from this, students will be provided free bus pass. DK announced another plan, which is very close to his heart.

Decision to start Bharat Jodo Youth Association
He said that we have decided to start 10,000 Bharat Jodo Yuvak Sangh across the state. The government will give Rs 10 lakh for this. These will be like youth clubs and we will ensure that youth are involved in sports, culture and history and develop leadership skills.
Let us tell you that DK Shivakumar became the 25th CM of Karnataka on June 3. He took oath along with 13 ministers, including former CM Siddaramaiah’s son Yatindra Siddaramaiah. G. Parameshwara was made Deputy CM. There was a tussle for change of power in Karnataka for quite some time. This came to an end on May 28, when Siddaramaiah resigned from the post of CM.
