Shiv Puja Rules: Keep these important things in mind while worshiping Lord Shiva on Monday, otherwise you will not get the results of the worship!

Monday Shiv Puja Guide: In Hindu religion, Lord Shiva is considered the god of welfare. According to the scriptures, Lord Shiva is such a god who becomes happy with a single pot of water. Monday has been dedicated to Lord Shiva. Special worship of Lord Shiva is done on this day. Also a fast is observed. There is a religious belief that on this day Mahadev is very pleased with the worship and fasting and bestows blessings.

With the blessings of Mahadev, all the troubles and troubles of life go away. There is happiness and prosperity in the house, but in the scriptures it has been said to keep some special things in mind while worshiping Lord Shiva on Monday. There are some special rules of Shiva worship. If the rules of Shiv Ji puja are ignored, Bholenath may get angry, due to which the results of the puja may be destroyed.

Keep these things in mind while worshiping Lord Shiva

Do not offer turmeric: Turmeric is not offered in the worship of Lord Shiva. Turmeric is mainly used in cosmetics. According to the scriptures, Shivlinga is considered a symbol of masculinity, hence do not use turmeric even by mistake in Shiva worship.

Do not offer Ketaki and Kevada flowers: Shiva does not like red colored flowers except Kanar and Lotus. Not only this, Ketaki and Kevada flowers are not offered to Shiva. Therefore, do not use these flowers in the worship of Lord Shiva, otherwise the results of the worship may be ruined.

Avoid offering kumkum and roli: Kumkum and Roli are not applied to Lord Shiva. Use of these things is prohibited in the worship of Lord Shiva.

Do not use shank: Lord Vishnu is very fond of the conch, but blowing the conch is considered prohibited during Shiva worship. Mythological belief is that Mahadev had killed a demon named Shankhachur, that is why conch is not used in Shiva worship.

Do not anoint with coconut water: Do not anoint Lord Shiva with coconut water. Coconut is considered to be the form of Lakshmi. It is accepted as Prasad after the puja, but it is said that after climbing Shivalinga, coconut water is no longer acceptable.

Do not use basil: Do not offer even basil leaves to Lord Shiva. According to the legend, Lord Shiva had killed the demon king Jalandhar, whose wife Vrinda had become a Tulsi plant. Vrinda had cursed Lord Shiva that Tulsi would not be used in his worship.
