Last Shani Pradosh Vrat 2026: Pradosh fast is observed every month on the Trayodashi date of Krishna and Shukla Paksha. This fast has been dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is known by the name of Vaar on the day Pradosh fast falls. The glory of this fast has been described in many Puranas including Shiva Purana. Pradosh Kaal has great importance in this fast. Shiva-Parvati are worshiped only during Pradosh period.

There is a religious belief that by observing the fast and worshiping Pradosh, one gets the special blessings of Lord Shiva. By the grace of God, all the troubles of life go away and happiness and prosperity are achieved. Not only this, after death the soul gets a place in Shiva Dham. Shani Pradosh fast is on 27th June i.e. tomorrow Saturday. The special thing is that tomorrow is the last Shani Pradosh fast of the year 2026. Shani Pradosh fast date (Shani Pradosh Vrat 2026 Tithi)

  • According to Drik Panchang, Trayodashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month is starting on 26th June i.e. tonight at 10.22 pm.
  • The end of this date will be on June 28 at 12:43 pm.

Since, the effect of Trayodashi Tithi will remain for the whole day on 27th June and the time of Pradosh Kaal will also be available. In such a situation, this Pradosh fast will be observed tomorrow on Saturday. Since it is Saturday, it is being called Shani Pradosh Vrat. This will be the last Shani Pradosh fast of the year 2026.

Shani Pradosh Vrat Pooja Muhurta (Shani Pradosh Vrat 2026 Puja Subh Muhurat)

Tomorrow on Shani Pradosh fast, the auspicious time for worshiping Lord Shiva will start at 07.23 in the evening. This auspicious time of worshiping Lord Shiva will last till 09.23 in the night. Tomorrow devotees will get 02 hours 01 minutes time to worship Shiva.

Shani Pradosh Vrat Puja Method (Shani Pradosh Vrat Puja Vidhi)

On the day of Shani Pradosh fast, take a bath in the morning and resolve to fast. Then in the evening, during Pradosh period, worship Lord Shiva, Mother Parvati and Nandi Maharaj. Offer water, Ganga water, milk, Belpatra, Dhatura and white flowers on Shivalinga. After this, chant Om Namah Shivay mantra and recite Shiva Chalisa or Shiva Stuti. On this day, offer mustard oil to Shani Dev and donate to needy people.
