However, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding strong winds and dust storm at the speed of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour in Delhi on Sunday evening. There will be a strong dust storm in the areas of Delhi-NCR in the next 3 hours. On the other hand, heavy to very heavy rain is expected in Southern and North-Eastern India. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning regarding bad weather conditions in various parts of the country in the coming days.
According to the Meteorological Department, heat wave to severe heat wave conditions are likely to persist in central and north-western India for the next seven days. Meanwhile, the effect of hot winds is also expected in Eastern India and adjacent peninsular areas for the next three to five days.

However, the maximum temperature is expected to drop slightly after May 29. At the same time, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Northeast India and some parts of Eastern India may receive heavy to very heavy rain during the next four to five days. Due to this, there is a possibility of waterlogging in some areas and disruption in the daily life of people at the local level.
Temperature crosses 44 degrees in Delhi
The minimum temperature recorded in Delhi on Sunday morning was 28.4 degrees Celsius. Which is two degrees more than normal. IMD has issued ‘Yellow Alert’ for Delhi, warning of strong surface winds and heat wave in the afternoon. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 44 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, ‘Yellow Alert’ means that people need to remain alert and keep informed about the changes happening in the weather. Meanwhile, late in the evening, IMD has issued an alert of strong dust storm in Delhi and its surrounding areas.
