
Guntur News: An emotional case has come to light from Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. During a public hearing held at the District Police Office, a 15-year-old teenager filed a complaint against both his parents and pleaded for justice. The teenager alleged that the family has left him destitute and now he wants to continue his studies. The police officers also became emotional after hearing his complaint.
The teenager named Saket is currently a student of ninth class. In his complaint, he told that when he was about one year old, his uncle and aunt Suresh and Meena had adopted him under the legal process. The couple had two daughters and in their desire to have a son, they adopted him. The teenager also handed over the documents related to adoption to the police. He told that his parents are Sridevi and Ramesh, who also have two other sons.

The teenager alleges that his adoptive parents did not take proper care of him for the last seven years. He told that due to neglect he fell into bad company and became victim of some bad habits. After this the adoptive parents threw him out of the house. When he tried to return to them again, they refused to accept him.
Saket also told that he sought help from his parents, but they also refused to keep him with them. At present, he is earning his living by doing small jobs related to food, but his biggest desire is to complete his studies.
Demand for justice from SP
Kishore told the Superintendent of Police (SP) that he had earlier also lodged a complaint at Nallapadu police station, but till now no concrete action has been taken. He appealed to the SP to take action against his adoptive parents and provide him an opportunity for education.
Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police has started examining the documents related to adoption. The officials have also decided to call the members of both the families and conduct counselling. Police say that after investigating all the facts, appropriate action will be taken as per law. This unique complaint has started a discussion in the entire district. Many questions have been raised regarding child protection and right to education.
