US Secretary of State Marco Rubio met PM Modi. During this meeting, which lasted for about an hour, important discussions took place on diplomacy. After meeting PM Modi, Ambassador Sergio Gore, while talking to the media, said that the meeting between the two leaders which lasted for about an hour was very positive. In the meeting, discussions were held to further strengthen India-US cooperation in important areas like security, trade and critical technology.
Sergio Gore described India as an important partner of America and said that both the countries are working together to advance a free and open Indo-Pacific. During this, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, on behalf of President Donald Trump, has also invited Prime Minister Modi to visit the White House in the future. Ambassador Sergio Gore, posting on X, wrote, Marco Rubio’s visit is taking place at a time when the whole world is facing many problems due to the Iran war.

This visit of Rubio is being considered very important from the point of view of India-US relations, because important issues like trade, technology, defense cooperation, energy security and strategic partnership between the Quad countries were discussed in it.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed happiness over meeting the US Secretary of State. Posting on X, he wrote, I am happy to welcome US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.
